Highbrook House

Highbrook House is a lovely spacious house up on a hill over the village of Bar Harbor. A peaceful spot, on a half acre of land, the cottage is just a 15 minute walk into downtown Bar Harbor, where you'll enjoy wonderful dining, whale watch cruises, shopping, bike rentals and more! Your family will enjoy the lovely backyard and deck, with nice shade trees and lawn for an afternoon badmitten game! Acadia National Park's Loop Road is less than a mile away!

The main floor of the house features a spacious living room with a woodstove, large eat-in kitchen, master bedroom suite with queen bed and private full bathroom. The second floor features one queen bedroom with a very large sitting area and a sleep sofa, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a bedroom with brand new bunk beds that comfortably sleeps 2. There is also a full bathroom on the 2nd floor.

Amenities include a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, cookware and diningware. There are three TV with cable (living room, master bedroom, bunks room), DVD player, and WIFI. There is a charcoal BBQ grill out on the deck.

There is off street parking for several cars.

The free Island Explorer bus stops right at the end of the driveway so you can ride all over Mount Desert Island! Acadia National Park is just minutes away, as is Kebo Valley Golf Course, public tennis courts, beaches, lakes, hiking and walking trails and much more! You can also kayak off the Sand Bar, just a few minutes away.
