The Brewer Ice House in located in-town Bar Harbor, on a small lane (Brewer Avenue). This cottage was once, many years ago, an Icehouse. It's a lovely property with a small yard and porch for enjoying the warm summer evening. One of the owners is a local landscaper, so there are lovely garden touches outside. Located near the end of the downtown district, it enjoys relative quiet for an in-town cottage.

Owned by an artist, the decor is very contemporary with many of the artist's sculptures and paintings adorning the interior. It features 3 bedrooms ( 2 queens, 2 twins), 2 bathrooms, one with tub. The living room also has a sleep sofa. The dining area seats 4, but there is also kitchen with countertop dining and high stools.

Amenities include full kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, cable TV, DVD, cable internet, gas BBQ, off-street parking.

This great spot in Bar Harbor, The Brewer Icehouse is a fun property and close to everything Mount Desert Island has to offer, including hiking, beaching, swimming, golfing (nearby Kebo Valley Golf Club is a top-rated PGA course), whale watching, beaching, kayaking, cycling, walking, shopping, dining.
