MacLeod Cottage

What fun to have your own oceanfront cottage while visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor! The MacLeod Cottage is a sweet cottage right on the shores of Goose Cove in Trenton, just 1.5 miles to the bridge onto Mount Desert Island and the Bar Harbor town line. Enjoy wonderful views of the Acadia Mountains, and an expansive view of Western Bay. Spend your days kayaking right from your shoreline into the calm waters of Goose Cove or enjoying the nicely kept yard, deck and sun porch!

This cottage features two bedrooms: a queen bedroom on the first floor (overlooking the ocean), and a loft bedroom with a double bed and twin sleep sofa, sleeping a total of 5. There is one full bathroom and one half bathroom (on the second floor). A small galley kitchen has all the appliances needed for your week's vacation (sorry, no dishwasher though). There is also a cozy living room with decorative wood stove.

Amenities include satellite TV, DVD player, BBQ grill (gas), microwave oven, washer/dryer. Sorry, internet is not available at this time.

Just 16 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor, 15 minutes to Acadia National Park main Park Loop Road entrance.

Activities in the area include swimming, boating, biking hiking, fishing, sightseeing, golf, tennis, water park, miniature golf, whale watch cruises, petting zoo, and oceanarium!
