Mizzentop Cottage

Mizzentop Cottage sits on a quiet, dead-end street just steps away from in-town Bar Harbor shopping, dining, shore excursions—all Bar Harbor has to offer. It is so conveniently located, you could literally park your car for your entire visit. The Island Explorer, a free transportation system servicing Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island, can pick you up at the end of the street and take you anywhere you want to go. The perfect venue for relaxation, Mizzentop's Cottage offers a sun porch and patio for those restful moments. For those who like to cook, Mizzentop's Cottage has a beautifully remodeled chef's kitchen. We also have plenty of lockable storage space for bikes, kayaks, canoes, and the like.

The patio is equipped with a gas grill and patio furniture for small family cookouts; and our sun porch is perfect for reading, listening to music, or just relaxing. Both porch and patio are adorned with flower beds and window boxes. Other amenities include cableTV/VCR, WIFI internet, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Stove, CD/Radio, Barbeque, Linens, Parking, Microwave, Coffee Maker. There are window air conditioning units in two of the bedrooms.

The three bedrooms have 2 queen beds and two twins. The bathroom has a full tub and shower. There is also a sleep sofa.

Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer visitors a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, boating, whale watching, canoeing (kayak and canoe tours), lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, wonderful dining, shopping, deep sea fishing! Visit the oceanarium, sail on the Margaret Todd, take a Jackson Lab visitors tour, enjoy tea and popovers at the Jordan Pond House, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis. Kids activities include water park, petting zoo, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream/dairy bars!
