Pond's Edge

Located on the "quiet side" of Mount Desert Island, Pond's Edge is 2nd floor dwelling situated private in the woods of Bass Harbor. Lovely trees populate the yard and there is a sweet little "mill" type pond in front. The high views show peek-a-boo sites of the ocean in the distance. This is a quiet, peacful property—a nice place to enjoy a relaxing vacation away from it all but still be in close proximity to Acadia National Park, Bass Harbor village, Southwest Harbor, and Bar Harbor.

This 2-bedroom cottage has one queen bedroom and one double bedroom. It has two full baths, including a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. The spacious deck offers lovely views. There is also a deck off the master bedroom.

Amenities include washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas BBQ grill, two cable TVs, high speed internet, microwave, gas fireplace, gas stove, outdoor siting chairs.

Note: there is a second rental unit on the first floor of the building.

Pond's End is close to everything Mount Desert Island has to offer, including mountain hiking, bicycling, beaching, boating, whale watching, canoeing (kayak and canoe tours), lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, wonderful dining, shopping, deep sea fishing! Visit the oceanarium, take the ferry over to Swan's Island, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis. Kids activities include: water park, petting zoo, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream/dairy bars!

This is a Sunday to Sunday rental. Sorry, no pets.
