Sunset View

This comfortable, light oceanfront cottage is located in Bass Harbor, on Mount Desert Island, right on Duck Cove. Stairs take you down to the shore where you can swim, fish and launch a canoe. Sunsets are wonderful, as are the ocean breezes from this cottage that sits up over the shoreline.

Sunset View has 3 bedrooms: one bedroom has a queen, another has a king bed, and the third has a double and a twin bed. There are two full bathrooms and a 1/2 bath.

The living room is cozy and overlooks the ocean. Off of the living room is a sweet screened-in porch/deck—the perfect place to sit and read a book and take in the fresh ocean air.

Amenities include: a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, toaster, coffee maker), linens, washer/dryer, dishwasher, beach towels, high-speed cable internet access, games, puzzles, cards, cable TV, cd/radio and a gas grill.

A lovely retreat, Sunset View is located on the "quiet side" of Mount Desert Island, but just a short drive to Southwest Harbor, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, where you'll find fine dining, shopping, and a variety of outdoor activities, including whale watch trips, hiking, biking, kayak tours, beaches, golf, tennis, and so much more!
