Westwind Camp

Spend the lazy days of summer at this seaside camp,  just over 6 miles from the Information Center for Acadia National Park and the Bar Harbor town line. Canoe in the bay, swim in the refreshing Atlantic Ocean, walk the sandy shore, and enjoy the simple life in this fun summer camp.

Westwind is an open-ceiling camp with two bedrooms, one bath (with shower),  living room, wood-burning Vermont stove, and wonderful deck overlooking the beach with a gas BBQ. There is a queen bed in one bedroom; a double bed and two twins (bunk beds) in the other bedroom. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. The kitchen has a stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. Sorry, no washer/dryer or dishwasher.

The camp also features satellite TV, a DVD player, telephone (long distance calls blocked), cooling fans, linens, cookware, diningware. Sorry, no sleep sofa.

Bring your kayaks, rafts,  swimsuits and fishing pole and enjoy a fun Maine summer camp vacation with your own private beach. Away from the busy summer traffic but close enough to enjoy everything Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park have to offer, including hiking, biking, nature walks, whale watching, deep sea fishing, sea kayak tours, museums, shopping and dining!
